Privacy policy
MagLev Racing ยท effective 6 November 2026 (Android version 0.4.0 and later)
MagLev Racing is a game made by Nenuvo ("we"). This policy explains what the game does with information about you. The short version: the Android version gives you a Nenuvo Player ID and keeps your progress in the cloud; it never asks for your name, and it only knows your email address if you choose to link a Google account. We do not sell data, show ads or track you.
Nenuvo Player ID
Nenuvo makes several games. The first time the Android version of MagLev Racing goes online, it creates a Nenuvo Player ID for you, a short random code such as #7K3P9M, without any sign-up. The same Player ID can be used in other Nenuvo games. You can see and copy it in Settings → Account.
What we collect and why
- Your Player ID and account record: the code, an internal account number and when the account was created. To recognise your player and keep your progress apart from everyone else's.
- Sign-in tokens: random strings that let the game prove which player it is. On our servers we keep only scrambled (hashed) versions; on your device they are stored encrypted. Unused sign-ins expire after 180 days.
- Your game progress (cloud save): career stars, credits, the engines you own and their upgrades, your driver level and XP, contracts, Daily Race streak and the days you last raced, rival ladder, engine and location mastery, trophies, race counts and distance, your best Time Trial, lap and Overdrive results, and your chosen livery. So you can continue on another device and do not lose progress. Ghost laps and other settings stay on your device.
- If you link Google (optional): the account number Google gives us for you, your Google email address and whether Google has verified it. So you can sign in on another device, and so we can find your account if you ask for help. We do not receive your Google password, contacts or anything else from your Google account.
- Technical records: for every request our service writes the time, which function was used, the result and how long it took, without your IP address, tokens or progress. To protect the service from abuse it keeps a keyed, one-way scrambled version of your IP address for up to two days. Our hosting provider's web servers may also keep standard access logs, which include IP addresses, for a short time for security and operations.
We do not use this information for advertising or profiling, we do not sell it, and the game has no analytics or tracking.
Where it is kept and who else sees it
The Player ID service runs on servers of our hosting provider in Germany (European Union), with encrypted backups kept by a separate storage provider. Google is involved only when you choose to sign in with Google; your sign-in on Google's page is covered by Google's privacy policy. We share your information with no one else, unless the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Until you delete your account. Deleting removes your sign-in methods (including the Google link and email), your cloud save, your names and your sessions in every Nenuvo game at once. Your Player ID code is retired: it stays reserved so that it is never given to anyone else, but nothing about you remains attached to it. Copies in our encrypted backups disappear within six months.
Deleting your account
- In the game: Settings → Account → Delete account.
- On the web, for accounts linked to Google: id.nenuvo.com/delete.
- By email: write to support@nenuvo.com with your Player ID.
Uninstalling the game does not delete the account. It removes what is stored on your device.
What stays on your device
Your settings (controls, sound, graphics level, scenery), Time Trial ghost laps, a copy of your progress and your encrypted sign-in. Uninstalling the game, or clearing its data, deletes them from the device.
Playing offline and on the web
You can play offline at any time; your progress is synced the next time the game is online. The web version on game portals does not use Nenuvo Player ID yet: it keeps everything in your browser's storage and sends nothing about you to us. If you get the game from an app store or a game website, that store or website has its own privacy policy for what it collects.
Children
MagLev Racing is not directed at children under 13. The Player ID itself needs no personal information; linking a Google account is optional and follows Google's own age rules.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, or ask a question about it, at support@nenuvo.com. Include your Player ID so we can find your account.
Changes
If the game starts to collect anything else, we will update this policy before that version is released. The date at the top shows when the policy last changed. Versions before 0.4.0 collect nothing and work fully offline.
